Phantom.) Appearance: Roman is tall standing at just over 6' and thin, though not quite scrawny. He has dark slate coloured eyes which when working are framed by glasses. He has jet black hair that he wears long and is only tied back when he goes into the office. He has a thin face though his features are quite soft and gentle, but he does have quiet a sweet smile. When working he wears simple suits, usually with the tie lopsided or not tied all the way up - unless Den sorts it before he leaves the house - it's a basic smartness he tries to achieve and mostly manages it. At home he wears comfy clothing, jeans or slacks and t-shirts, he does like waistcoats though, some are a little ragged but he wont part with them. Of course one thing he will never be without is his wedding ring. Personality: Roman is a shy sweet man, though he does have a gentle humour to him that not many get to see. If you make friends with him though you will have a devoted friend for life. He is highly studious and would generally like a quiet life, of course with a seven year old around, and a wife with a hectic job that doesn't happen very often... but he's not complaining, he very much enjoys his life. Though not extremely exciting by some peoples view, it suits him just fine. He is the type of person that believes in old fashioned romance, though it is usually unexpected. He is a very kind and loving person but all of a sudden, particularly when Deni has been busy he will surprise her with something special. He passed through school with good grades though it wasn't easy, but after finishing compulsory education at age 15 he took further education then at 19 he was accepted into a prestigious university. He wasn't like the usual student, he didn't party and get drunk, he preferred to stay home and read, or study. He took English language, English literature and journalism. Though he did surprise his family and tutors when he decided half way through his four year course to take a year out to work full time instead of badly paid part time jobs. He spent the first six months working as an office gopher for a local news paper before his working visa came through for America. He decided that working in the land of freedom and opportunity that he had arranged everything himself would look very good on his resume. Both of these jobs he lived in small run down apartments that were cheap to rent and worked long hours for little pay. He moved to San Francisco to take on a six month journalist internship, which was basically an office gopher that looks better on paper. It was in the few weeks here that he met Deni. Rather he was browsing an old second hand book store and she mauled him. She was forward and mad, and he certainly wasn't, but he fell hard and fast. Though he didn't expect her to propose to him, but she did! Eventually he said yes, it wasn't that he didn't love her, it was just all so fast and he should have been the one to propose, and they'd only been dating just over five months, he took it as a leap of faith that it would last. It also meant giving up his education, which he did willingly. Of course they had to get married very quickly before his visa ran out, which brought unwanted attention from the authorities and they spent some time convincing them it wasn't a marriage of convenience. Roman then continued to work but did go to night school to get more qualifications since he wasn't going to return to Russia to finish his degree. Deni's parents have never been happy that she married him so he always looks forward to their calls and visits. They are quite racist towards him too and had hoped that Deni would have married a nice wealthy black doctor. Instead they got a thin white man they can barely understand who compared to Deni doesn't make good money, so they really don't like him. It wasn't long after this that Roman found out about his bone disorder, though he is trying not to worry about that until he has to, but he is being much more careful. Both Roman and Deni worked very hard and studied hard then three years later they found out she was pregnant, they had a son, and called him Parker. Since Deni was still studying the duty of staying home with their son fell to Roman. Though he was lucky enough to find an editing job that meant he could work from home, so he could make money while Deni studied and he took care of Parker. Since then they have moved to New York and Miami for Deni's studying and work. He would happily follow her anywhere, and in fact she's just been contacted by an old friend who has said there is a job in need of her skills in Mysteria. He has also found a job with the news paper that will allow him to work from home when needs to and a school for Parker.
